Après  avoir quitté IF en 73, Dave QUINCY et Terry SMITH se joignent à Tommy EYRE (claviers,ex RIFF RAFF et Joe COOKER band), et à Loughty AMAO (sax , ex O'SIBISA) pour former ZZEBRA .  
Cette formation de 7 musiciens produisit un premier album sans grand intérêt, mais se rattrape en 1975 avec leur 2° et dernier disque : "Panic" (Polydor 2383 326) , album très vif, rythmé et aéré, ou Dave QUINCY fait merveilles aux saxes ("Karrola") , ainsi que tommy EYRE, avec le son de clavier si particulier qui est le sien ("Death by drowning", "Tree") .
